I may have mentioned before that Raymond E. Feist is one of my favorite authors. If I didn't mention it, I should have. I recently got time to start on his new Darkwar series and I relish the return of Pug. This isn't a review becasue I only got the book on Saturday. This is just a quick shout out to my man Raymond. One awesome thing about Raymond Feist is found in his own words: "...And that is the essence of my work. I am not attempting to produce Art (big A). I am attempting to touch the emotions..." - and by god he does that so well that he ends up creating Art anyway. I think he gets that an artist creates what he or she creates and it is up to the reader/admirer/listener/viewer to accept or reject or tuck away in the back of the mind for later consideration. Well Mr. Feist, I don't expect you will ever stumble across this humble page but if you do, please know that you have reached right into me and touched my emotions and that is the most beautiful art I can imagine. Which I guess is just a long-winded way to say "Dude. I totally dig your books.". I am not sure what "Big A" means to you but I can honestly say your work is ART to me.



Midkemia is a world I have grown to love and if any of you lazy asses out there have any sense you will go get some Raymond Feist books.

Speed Racer (2008)

That Speed Racer movie up there is what is getting my taint in a tizzy.

Speed racer was my favorite show when I was a kid and now that I am just a bigger kid this has me freaking going nuts. You always remember the stuff that made you happy as a child. Doesn't matter if it wasn't the best anime ever. Because all I know is it was the best fucking anime ever.

(on a side note - ummm, sorry about that naughtiness earlier. I'm still going to see Transformers, Pirates and Harry. I was just buuuuuuuull-shittin'. I love you guys too.)
