Wiiiiiiiii-doggie!

As my good friend Jed Clampett would say. He might also say, in a private moment, "Wii? WTF is that?"

I'll tell ya Jed - it's the best thing ever (Or at least until I get a PS3). (or a blow job).

Christmas reviews:
Zelda for Wii is kick-fucking ass.
The bowling game from the included sports disc is also a LOT of fun. Tennis is pretty good but you need room to swing moreso than for bowling. Baseball is dull after the first inning. Golf is kinda disappointing but that may be because it reminds me too much of how I play in real life. Poorly. I'll give it a little time to grow on me.

Rayman Raging Rabbids just sucks. Not what I am looking for in a game at all. Maybe you'll like it but rent it first. Because you don't wanna be stuck with this piece of shit and be all hatin' it and stuff. Unless you like it. Then being stuck with it ain't so bad.

Non Wii reviews:
Got a Metalocalypse Tshirt. Brutal. Worn it twice already. 2 thumbs up.
Got 2 pair of Dockers. Not brutal but much needed. Got no underwear but that's OK cuz I'm all up in that workplace free-ballin' it. 2 thumbs up.
Got Talladega Nights: The Legend Of Bobby Ricky. I wish I had more thumbs because they would all be up. In fact, I may go get some thumb grafts just so I can give Ricky Bobby more than just 2 thumbs up. Will Ferrell is my hero. Y'all can expect a new soundboard sometime.
But seriously - Will Ferrell is not capable of being not funny.
Got enough credits/rupees/gil to visit the mall. May get a Dropkick Murphys shirt to add to the awesomeness of my Metalocalypse Dethklok shirt. Unless they have something by Dying Fetus or Carcass - but I doubt that. Hot Topic is kinda posery and waaay too slanted towards the emo-goths but they do occasionally have good shirts - especially olds school stuff that is cool again (Led Zep, Sabbath, Ramones, Motorhead, etc...) But seriously Hot Topic - lay off that faggy HIM and Himsa shit. I don't get that crap at all. (I'm down with gay people and believe in their rights and vote Democrat partially because of it but even Harvey Firestein thinks that shit is gay.)

Lots of restaurant gift cards. Me and eating get along just fine so no problems there.

Found a cool Irish pub near the house that has KICK ASS cottage pie, Steak and Mushroom pie, chicken and mushroom pie, scotch eggs and some other things that I haven't tried yet. But the greatest thing of all is the beautiful double pour Guinness that Jimmy can throw on ya. Heaven in a pint glass. Claddagh Cottage is worth the effort to find.

Dying Fetus and Necrophagist

were out-fucking-standing. One of the best death metal shows I've seen. Oh yeah, Cannibal Corpse were there too. But I was there for DF and Necrophagist. They were brilliant. Wish I had pix of that. There was another band there too - opening band Unmerciful. Singer has a good death metal growl and they played pretty good. I think they should add another guitarist for a fuller sound. Not that the guy playing wasn't kicking ass but it's hard for 1 guy to do it all. They were good though - I'll be happy to hear more from them.

Really, I love Dying Fetus and Necrophagist are quickly becoming one of my top 10 favorite bands. Totally brutal and then, out of nowhere, a beautiful, ethereal guitar solo - that adds to to the brutality by it's contrast instead of taking away from it. They are a great fucking band.

CC was better than I expected, not being into them much before. They've been around a long time and they don't fuck around. Straight up death metal old school style. A little variation wouldn't hurt my feelings but I'd rather they kick ass at what they do than go soft on us.

That's one of the things I like about death metal in general. They are what they are. I love Bob Dylan but he's got some weird damn songs. I don't have to worry about that so much with death metal. They don't need to go off on a tangent. When I want something different I listen to different kinds of music. When I want brutal, I want death metal. But damn, them Necrophagist guys do it right.

Here's some more from the stupid Cowboys game.

I liked 'em better as the Aints

New Orleans whipped us good. We sucked. Hard to believe we were among the top NFC teams. But we'll get better. I was at the game.
