Let's play Catch up....
Turns out only one of my Fantasy Football teams stinks...I'm last in one league and out of the playoff picture. However, in the other league I'm 8-4, tied for second place, already clinched a playoff spot and am playing today for a good seed - the playoffs start next week. Chad Johnson and Torry Holt are gathering more points for me even as I type this...My beloved Cowboys won on Thanksgiving and I get to watch them on Monday night this week against a surpisingly inept Seattle Seahawks team. Go Keyshawn! Don't let your cousin get all the points this weekend! And you too, Jason Witten - keep on rockin'....
Incredibles - Great movie
Shark Tale - OK movie
Hero - just bought on DVD - Brilliant movie - I can't gush enough so I won't even try.
Still Standing - still funny.
Scrubs - I always liked but is even better this year than last. Pee pants funny.
Grounded For Life - more of the funny. Gets better all the time.
The leading ladies in the 3 previously mentioned TV shows are all wayyyyyyy hot in their own special ways. Real women. Real hot. Real funny, too - that's always a bonus.
Of the 3 CSI's the original is still the best. I had some minor reservations regarding the newest kid on the block but CSI:NY is coming along nicely. Outstanding Pizza Parlor scene last week.
Survivor is still great fun. All other "reality" TV shows blow. Trump can kiss my ass.
NYPD Blue is finishing soon. That reaaaaaaaaaaalllllly sucks because it's as good now as it ever was and probably even better - Very satisfying to see Michael's father get his just desserts. And I'm glad it wasn't Baldwin that did it. The new captain reminds me a lot of Kevin Spacey back in his Mel Proffit days (from Wiseguy with Ken Wahl for you non-tv addicted readers). I really hope these guys get new shows because I think I will miss them on my TV every week if they don't. Especially Sipowicz. How can ya not love Sipowicz?
Still haven't seen Kill Bill Vol. II yet - I hope to get it for my birthday next week.
I'm thinking of changing the OG homepage so this blog loads up in it instead of having two different pages. I dunno. Original Geek is also a lazy geek. If I can do it without missing too much TV I'll try...
Chrysler had the coolest concept cars at the auto show. Copperhead. Look it up.
Christmas music is cool for about a month. I hope my cubicle-mates at work think so as well - cuz they'll be hearing nothing but that from my cube. Even though I'm an atheist, I like the religious Christmas music the best - Have you all heard Charlotte Church's "O Holy Night"? Wow. If that don't move ya, you're an asshole. I've got about 10 different versions of the "Carol of the Bells" but Mr. Mackie's (From Southpark) is sure in my top 3. ....ring Christmas Bells, mmmmmkay?
OK, that's all for now. OG out...
