We got power and cable back! WooHoo! But I haven't been able to update the blog for some reason....

Wow, Hurricanes Blow!

And not just the Miami Hurricanes, who my beloved Seminoles face in their season opener a week from Monday....

No, I mean Hurricane Charley - I'm just now getting back online. I guess I can be thankful that there was no major damage to the house. We had no power for almost a week and then no cable until now.

But everything seems to be coming back on-line. Except my hot water heater. Now that stupid thing quit working.

Whee!

Ridin' the storm out....

Well, Charley will knock me out of commision for a bit or he won't - either way, I got me plenty of stuff for sammiches including a new jar of kick-ass horseradish sweet pickles. MMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmYum - good thing I also got a couple 5 gallon bottles of water...
