Rush should be in the Hall Of Fame

If you have ANY Rock-and-Roll bones in your body you will agree that

Rush belongs in the HOF

(Please note that the above image was copied from www.2112.net

It's criminally insane that they aren't already....

Am I using...

too many exclamation points?

Maybe I should cut back on those.

Maybe.

!

Thank you RUSH!

For one of the greatest concerts I've ever seen....

Rush is one of the greatest bands on the planet - They've been together for 30 years - and they still sound as fresh and exciting as the first time I ever heard them (In the early 80's)...

...Even when they did covers of songs from the 60's - The Who's "The Seeker"!?!?!?! Out-fucking-standing! They have a mini-CD out called "Feedback" with 7 cover songs that I'm on my way to the store to get right now. Well, after I finish typing.

2112, La Villa Strangiato, Xanadu....around 3 hours of Rushly goodness last night for me and Malizzle. I am de-speechified by the by the grand-badness (Bad good, not bad bad) of them Canadians. I'm feeling the love for Canada. Like Malizzle said last night, if Canada never does another thing for the rest of history they are forever revered by me for giving us Rush. And Kids In The Hall.

Rock on, Geeksters.

RUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Holy CRAP - I just can't fucking stand it! Tonight we'll be heading down to Tampa to see RUSH - one of the world's greatest bands ever. I saw them on their Power Windows tour in the mid 80's and the Counterparts tour in the 90's and they never fail to overwhelm me. I just can't hardly stand the wait......

Fantasy Football!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yeah, bay-beeeeeeeeee - It's about that time of year again! I love me some football. And in case you were wondering, I am a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan and Florida State Seminoles fan. I had the privilege of seeing Roger Staubach come back against the Philadelphia Enemies, err, I mean, Eagles when I was but a lad growing up in Dallas. I wasn't smart enough to go to Florida State but my Dad, Mom, Grandpa, Uncle, Aunt and probably some other relatives all were and did. And I was born in Tallahassee. So that makes me about as life-long a fan as one can be.

I'm counting on the Big Tuna to lead my Cowboys to glorious victory again!!

And it wouldn't hurt my feelings if I could count on some Fantasy Football points from a few Cowboys this year too. I carried Troy Hambrick last year just so I could have a Cowboy on my team - which I know is stupidly sentimental and not very good FFB strategy, but that's just the way I am - and that didn't really work out too well in the final season stats. But I'll do it again this year. Keyshawn? You gonna help a brother out here? I know you used to be on another enemy team but you are a Cowboy now. That's good enough for me. Somebody get Keyshawn the damn ball!

I know I don't need to ask anything of Bobby Bowden. FSU will be a dominating force as usual. It will be soooooooooooo sweet to take out them Gators again this year. My fireman buddy who went to UF disagrees but that's just the way the building burns. Let the trash talking commence!

Chatterboxes...

Look over there...no, over to the right...down towards the bottom....

See?

I'm so cool I'm gonna allow you to talk back to me and to each other even...

Say nice things.

Or don't.

I'm mostly gonna ignore you anyway.
